Public Talk: Healing, Moment by Moment

Mindfulness, MBCT, Depression, Anxiety, treatment, NYC, East Vollage Holistic Therapist, Counselor

On Tuesday evening, I will be presenting a public talk at Namaste Healing Center.

Healing, Moment by Moment
Using mindfulness of the nervous system as a powerful tool for healing

In this two hour workshop, you will learn essential tools for using mindfulness to heal your mind, your heart, your body and your life.

In every moment we are moving toward or away from wellness, and the decision to shift direction happens in an instant.  Mindfulness is the key to catching the present moment, so that we can move into a state of awareness and choice.

But sometimes this is just the first step.  A skillful response is what’s needed to turn the tide.  Combining mindfulness with an awareness of how the brain, the nervous system and the body interact, creates a powerful tool to allow us to heal our whole selves.

  • Tuesday, February 12th, 6pm
  • Namaste Healing Center, 80 5th Ave, Suite 1104 (between 13th and 14th streets), NYC

Mary Myers has been leading workshops in Mindfulness  and Healing for over 10 years. Her primary teacher is Thich Nhat Hahn. She combines her practice of mindfulness with her training as a Holistic Therapist and her passionate love of science. This combination allows her to offer a unique, science-based and heart-centered approach to healing that combines an understanding of the power of love with the power of neurobiology. She teaches Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and is in private practice in the East Village.
